One of the largest electrical contracts ever undertaken in Queensland, the project, including replacing the site wide high voltage infrastructure system, was also one of the most complex.
The Project involved the construction of a new 26,000m2 Gallery of Modern Art and also the refurbishment and extension of the existing State Library and associated site works. As the sole Electrical contracting company Logan City Electrical transformed the 3.5 hectare site into a world-class cultural centre.
The duration of the contract was over two years and at its peak the construction workforce was in excess of 120 staff.
